P.C.F. Aircraft Checkout & Endorsement
Training Rate: $80.00/Hr.
“Get familiar with a new aircraft — an aircraft checkout ensures you're well-prepared, safe, and ready for your next flight."
I offer personalized aircraft checkout and endorsement (as appliable) to help you fly new aircraft safely and confidently. We'll cover ground instruction on systems, procedures, and performance, followed by a flight to practice handling, maneuvers, and emergency operations. Once you demonstrate proficiency, I’ll provide the necessary logbook endorsement. My goal is to make sure you not only meet the requirements but truly feel capable in the new aircraft.

This is an estimated time and cost—your timeline and total may vary depending on aircraft selection, and or recency and proficiency of both aeronautical knowledge and skills.
✈ Once you're scheduled, here's how the day will unfold.

Runway to Readiness:
What to Expect
Flying a new aircraft is both challenging and rewarding. During the ground portion, we’ll cover aircraft systems, capabilities, limitations, performance, key considerations, and preflight procedures. Concepts will be reinforced through scenario-based questioning.
The flight portion will include slow flight, stalls, steep turns, unusual attitude recoveries, emergencies, and a simulated IFR approach (if instrument rated). We’ll also cover pattern work, performance takeoffs and landings, and go-arounds.
Requirements for Completion:
While perfection isn’t expected, the standard is safe, effective aircraft control and a thorough understanding of the aircraft’s systems and capabilities. Maneuvers will be evaluated according to the Private Pilot ACS, as applicable. Any safety issues during the checkout may require additional training before the endorsement is issued.
