Ground School: Where Professional Pilots Begin
To earn your commercial pilot license, you'll master key FAA regulations, aerodynamics, weather analysis, weight and balance, and aircraft performance. Training will focus on navigation, flight maneuvers, emergency procedures, and high-altitude/night operations. You’ll also develop strong decision-making skills, learning to safely operate in various flight scenarios. This comprehensive training—both in the classroom and in the air—ensures you're prepared for professional, safe, and efficient flight operations.

Flight Time That Lets You Get Paid to Fly: Commercial Pilot Requirements
Throughout your training, you’ll gain essential flight experience, including:

250 hours total flight time.

100 hours as pilot in command (PIC).

At least 50 hours must be in an airplane.

At least 50 hours cross-country flight.

10 hours of actual or simulated instrument flight time.

10 hours in a complex and or TAA airplane.

(1) Day Cross-Country >100NM.

(1) Night Cross-Country >100NM.

10 hours solo which must include:

(1) Cross-Country >300NM, with landings at 3 airports.

5 hours night VFR with 10 takeoffs & landings.

Demonstrate proficiency as outlined in FAA regulations (14 CFR 61.127(b)(1)).
